🚀 We're Hiring: AI Field Engineer (Enterprise) 📍 San Mateo, CA / New York, NY | Hybrid | $176K–$224K Base (OTE: $220K–$280K) Are you the engineer who gets called in when an enterprise needs to turn a GenAI idea into a production system — fast? We're looking for an AI Field Engineer (Enterprise) to embed directly with our customers, pairing deep technical execution with the credibility to navigate complex organizations. What you'll do: 🔹 Lead technical discovery calls and scope POCs — running load tests and evals to validate the right model and deployment architecture 🔹 Build production integrations hands-on-keyboard, inside customer environments and infrastructure 🔹 Guide customers on model selection and fine-tuning strategy (SFT, DPO, RFT) — taking them from exploration to production at scale 🔹 Manage multi-stakeholder enterprise relationships — champions, detractors, security reviews, procurement 🔹 Feed field insights back into our product roadmap as a direct line between customers and engineering What you bring: ✅ 3+ years in customer-facing AI/ML field engineering (FDE, Applied AI, Solutions Architect, AI Infra/ML Engineer with pre-sales exposure) ✅ Hands-on experience with open-model inference and serving frameworks (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM) ✅ Real fine-tuning experience — SFT at minimum, DPO/RFT a strong plus ✅ Proven track record shipping production code inside a customer's environment — not just advisory work ✅ Strong Python skills, plus GPU/cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes comfort ✅ Executive presence — equally comfortable in a technical deep-dive with an engineer and a strategy conversation with a VP Not a fit if: 🚫 Your LLM experience is limited to closed-model API wrappers 🚫 You're a pure advisory/consulting profile without shipping experience 🚫 Pure Big Tech background with no startup or fast-paced field engineering exposure Visa Sponsorship H-1B transfers and TN visas sponsored O-1 considered on a case-by-case basis Open to domestic travel to enterprise customers as needed.
